2017 Identità

Identità 2017 is our orange natural wine coming from “Campo Vecchio”, a filed blend of Trebbiano, Vermentino and Malvasia. A mere 1.960 bottles were produced. Nothing was added to the wine and is defined as “sulfite-free wine” since the content of natural SO2 is below 10 mg/Lt. Coming from the challanging 2017 vintage – characterised by the driest weather and the earliest harvest we have ever had – this is a viscerally thrilling wine that can be produced only once in a lifetime.

Grapes: 85% Vermentino, 15% Trebbiano.
Fermentation: soft pressing and decantation in refrigerated stainless steel tank. Fermentation started with indigenous yeasts and was stopped at 10% Alc to leave some of its natural sugars (40gr/l).
Maturation: 7 months in stainless steel.
Bâttonage: every week from October until March.
Alcohol: 10%
